Dear all,
With the end of 2005, and Cork's year as European Capital of Culture, my wee arty-farty project Euro Trash Stories also comes to the last post. Hopefully it has shown the world how Cork's youth culture is alive and vibrant despite the Capital of Culture folks didn't really give it enough space in formal events.
I'd like to thank all of those who work to keep us entertained: Bass, UCC DJ Society, Delaryous, Tikki, GoDeep (To name but a few) and all the brilliant local bands and DJs that animate Cork's night life. I also wanna thank the people who appeared in the pics and those who visited the site (It had over 2,500 hits and more than 4,000 pages viewed), many of whom stopped me and the Napoli Boys in pubs and clubs with positive feedback.
Without you this city would be boring and ETS wouldn't have had a reason to be.
We end with:
The Napoli Boys Vs Dumpland
(Richie Hawtin at Traffic)

The first time we came across Richie was when he was still known as Plastikman, in Napoli in the mid nineties. Techno was the new House and it was about to explode there, soon becoming our favorite genre down south. When I heard Ritchie was going to play in Dumpland, I immediately rang the Napoli boys, “We simply can't miss this!” I said. I was going to be in Napoli all that week, but I booked an early return flight to be back on Thursday night...
