Apparently Cassano is off to Real in January for 5 mill. Could Real really be this stupid? A talented FORWARD with a questionable temprament when they need defenders and defensive mid-fielders? What a bunch of tools.

They're a mess , simple as
When they announced they intended signing Keane , a good move for sure , The Press in Madrid kicked up a stink and the club put a hold on the move, which is just ridiculous

Cassano for 5 millions? Not a bad piece of business at all at all. They certainly made a nice profit off Mickey Owen.

Gayer.
It's a very cromulent word — copacetic, in fact.
Could you post up a list of 'gay' words? Just so I don't make the same mistake again.
How about bisexual words?

It's not a gay word, but calling male footballers 'lush' it what one's 13 year old sister might do... if ya catch my drift.
Looks like you could give philby a run for his money!

In all fairness i can see how Cassano would be a good addition to the squad for only five million. They already have Ronaldo and Raul (who we know is injured) and both are proven strikers who will get goals, Robinho in all fairness is a young player who is playing a a foreign country for the first time and will no doubt improve.
For me the jury is still out on Baptista, so this is where Cassano may fit.
Someone mentioned earlier that they need defenders and defensive midfielders, well they brought in Samuel who flopped, Woodgate may come good but the jury is still out.
They brought in Graveson who in my opinion is not good enough to play for a team of Real's calibre (albiet shite at the moment).
The best midfielder at the club who is Guti could not get a game under Luxemburgo.
IMHO they have never been the same team since they sold Makelele to Chelsea. With him holding it gave Zidane much more freedom and the balance of the team was much better.
As he was one of the lowest paid player at Madrid i cannot blame him for wanting to go to Chelsea.
Real will never get it right if they keep changing their manager every sixe months either.

Dunno i'd say he's an arrogant tosser who won't want to "move down" in Italy and i dunno would Milan, Inter or Juve even want him.
Someone said before that he'd be good business for Real at 5 million and asshole/ltd. talent etc. or not he probably is at that price. If he plays well for 6 months or so even off the bench his value will increase. I mean 5 million is nothing at all and if Real sold him on later he'd still be worth more as a former "Galactico."

The big three (especially Capello/Juve) do want him, but none of them seem prepared to pay €5 million for him now, given that he should be available free in the summer. Roma of course are desperate to sell now, as the chances of him re-signing seem very slim.
Cassano would be a decent signing for Real, especially 6 months before a World Cup where he's desperate to get in the squad. The best period of his career to date came in early 2004 when he was forcing his way into the reckoning for Euro 2004, and in recent weeks for Roma he's been back into some kind of form.
Don't think that in the long term it'd be a good move for Cassano though. He probably already made the wrong choice in going to Roma rather than Juve in 2001 (granted that decision may have been more Bari's than his), and it's left him looking more likely to be the Italian Gascoigne rather than the Italian Rooney. It's very possible that he'll sit tight til summer and go to Juve (who should be offloading Del Piero if Capello has his way). There were strong rumours in October that he'd agreed to move to Juve at the end of the season already.

Bringing in Cassano could be simply an accounting exercise but, even at that, they really, really dont need yet another forward. They need managerial stability and a defensive platform on which to build. Yet, the Real answer, is to get another striker.
Real are simply a comedy club at the moment.
