Free XML Reader? TECHIES HELP!!!

Hola,
I've just been given a bastard of a job that I really need an XML reader for, I've got to kinda search through and edit a langerload of messages and notepad just aint cuttin it!

If anyone knows any good free ones (or wants to PM me licence keys for XML spy! ;-) ) please help me out, please?

I've never heard of an XML reader.

Notepad should suffice

try wordpad, it formats the xml properly.

Off the top of my head, you should be able to get a trial version of XML Spy from http://www.altova.com/. Free for thirty days or so.

there's some pretty nice perl / java / vb / c++ classes / objects or whatever that make it really easy to parse XML. or you could write your own parser. or use a parser-generator to generate a parser for you.

you'd probably even get away with using normal aul regular expressions.

Besides, i figured he wants something that will let him edit the XML rather than just look at it.
