i'd have to take exception to westerveld. played quite well, couple of mistakes cost him big, i'd replace him with kirkland, signed for 6 mill, useless bastard.

didn't realise he actually got a game. most consistant player in the pool squad, made the bench for about 3 years straight, funny. should be subject to one of those 'where are they now' programmes.

Sander was good for a while and Heskey had an absolute cracker of a first season. All the rest were absolute mince though.

Very harsh on westerveld IMO. Having Ronaldo in as a flop is crazy too. And Neil webb, he was a decent player. he's a postman now. crazy.
How about Mike Hooper for the pool goal? or michael "an ironing board ended my career" stensgaard?
