Should United have signed Vieira?

I think in his book that he said he wouldn't have gone to United but I wouldn't read much into that :-)

DO you think United would be up there with Chelsea if they signed him? Also why do you think he went for only 13 million considering the year before Madrid were willing to break the bank for him

in the mirror today, he says he could go to man united, to replace Keane.

Arsenal would have sooner taken a cut in the price as to sell him to Utd. it was a strangely quiet deal in the end. you would have expected more hysteria. i still think there are too many holes there for vieira to make that much of a difference in terms of catching Chelski though. probably make the battle for second a bit more clear cut.

Dunno bout that - Chelsea have had no injury problems, United and Arsenal have had massive losses this season in terms of players.

Vieira says that Dean said he was lukewarm to the idea or something along those lines, he says that if they had said we don't want you to go he'd have stayed.

Would be an excellent signing for Man United still and would make it a more interesting Premiership definitely.
