Why are so many people, mostly men in there mid to late twenties starting to surf in Cork? Why are these people so eager to take up a sport like surfing and why not stick to tradtional sports??? Any opinions??

Because they're chronic at traditional sports. At least it's a good outdoorsy experience, they could be in the pub watching the rugby with Nige and Fachtna.
