Tottenham eye Robben developments
Arjen Robben career statistics
Tottenham boss Martin Jol wants to sign Arjen Robben if the chance arises.
The Dutch winger's relationship with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly deteriorating and Jol is keeping a keen eyeing on developments.
"If there are more problems surrounding Robben I'll make a mega bid for him," Jol told Dutch website Football Zone.
"Spurs have a lot of quality. Financially we're very healthy, too. We've money to spend and that's why we can bring in expensive players."
Robben made a startling impact at Stamford Bridge last season, but his spell in west London has been blighted by injury.
Speculation has suggested Mourinho is growing increasingly frustrated by the 21-year-old's attitude and fitness record and would be willing to offload the Dutchman, who cost £12m in summer 2004.
Mourinho rejects Robben row claim
The reported row resurfaced after Robben's substitution in the Champions League defeat against Real Betis.
However, Mourinho insisted he replaced the former PSV Eindhoven star because of injury and that there was no subsequent falling out between the pair.
