so who will you throw your lot in with? it wont be anywhere near the same of course.

about a month ago i thought i would go with england - i do live here after all - but if im honest with myself, i dont want them to win. i'd like to see them get to the 1/4s say and lose to germany for instance. that would be grand. i want them to stay in for awhile as it will mean packed pubs and good atmosphere around the city. and less work for me.

i dont want to follow any of the joker teams (your asian teams, angola, mali and the like). i'd like to see ghana do ok. i dont want brazil to win again. and definitely not france.

at the moment im favouring the dutch. that would be pretty cool.

I've always had a soft spot for Holland as well. I'd normally go for England, especially with Rooney in the ranks, but Frank Lampard pisses me of no end and that will make it difficult. Carragher, Gerrard, Owen, big gay Sol, no bother with them but Lampard, no.

most definitely they are currently 7th in sepps ladder and they completely outclassed the technically excellent panama 2-0 last time out,you know its not easy qualifying from central america...

technically excellent panama

Come off the fucking stage. I do rate the USA though. Can't wait to see how the Ukraine do. The old Soviet Union was always practically a Ukrainian team and the fact that they only have to make the short trip to Germany might also be in their favour. They will be the so-called "surprise" European team.

was being sarcastic bud, dont rate the US and mexico either for that matter, agree with ya on ukraine, will be in trouble tho if they rely on sheva too much, has been outstanding for them in qualifying but against better opposition they will need a plan b..

Actually I'm Bi.

They have to overcome the Aussies first though. They might find it a bit harder than they did 4 years ago.

There is a white port vale player for Trinidad and Tobago; I think he is the first white man to play for a Caribbean nation.
