I,m Mick an auld bastard from Liverpool.
Iwas attracted to this site because I,ve just come back from Riga,
It,s the capital of Latvia.
Not may there speak english nor gaelic, but i found this Irish bar(Laceys)
It is a cracking bar . The manager is a little Corker called Gerry.
The bar is adorned with a massive banner ,it,s all red with the words
written in white (THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CORK)

Riga is a great place and i got a free flight from Liverpool(ryan air)
brought back a few cigs,but they only sell american.

A mate of mine Alex is from Cork originally and he wants to know
if anyone remembers the Cahills ,they lived in Collins,s barracks
his da was in the army. He,s an auld bastard like me (57)

Has the capital of culture done any good for Cork,we,ve got it in
2008.
