I'm currently with Irish Broadband and need to move to some other provider. The service was always pretty crap (constantly dropping etc.) but has now pretty much given up the ghost completely. (I think that I was always just about on the edge of their range and one of their recent "improvements" has obviously fucked things up completely now.) My main reason for going for them at the time was that it saved me from having to have a telephone landline (which I'd never use) and, thus, having to pay for the monthly rental on that.

Anyway, I've got to move providers now so am looking for some advice .....

Who do you use as your broadband provider? How much does it cost? Would you recommend them? etc. (Does anyone use 'Smart Telecom'? - I was thinking of them.)

I appreciate that this topic has probably been done to death a bit on here before (and , yes, I did do a search of the board to see what I could find before posting this up) but all and any replies would be appreciated.

Cheers.

To repeat myself:

Wireless - if available to you, go with Nova or Amocom

DSL - go with smart if available, followed by BT.
