others have come and gone in the past, Keanes moving on wont be the end of United.thats just trash talk.
anyway, I think Liverpool fans are more concerned with the poor start to the season that has yielded them a total of 1 win from 6 games,a goal difference of minus 2 and a worrying table position than they are about United's midfield problems, dont ya reckon?

I disagree. Schmeichel was until this year, unreplaced.Ye spent a nice bit of dosh trying to get his replacement and ye spent alot of dosh getting Keanes replacement but that has yet to be sorted. Keanes presence is massive and as you've seen before, utd are no where as good without him. What have utd won with and without schmeichel. what will utd win in the next few years without keane...nawtin! maybe an oul carling cup here and there.

I remember a team a few years ago celebrating this cup as part of a treble
The sports forum has gone to fawk
As someone said United and Liverpool fans arguing about who is better at the moment is embarrassing both teams have loads to sort out
This end of an era crap is also pretty pointless sure everyone knows the power shifted to Highbury a couple of years ago............

we've won three leagues without schmeichel.2000,2001 ,2003.
Robson was replaced by keane,we were lucky at that time that a young player like keane was around. But to say that United without Keane will do "nawtin" is simply the same shit we heard when Cantona retired.Sure we'll be worse off for his absence, but it aint the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah I mean only a crap team would beat the current Italian Champions, the current Premiership Champions, and the 2nd most successful team in the history of the European Cup in the final. With all this talk about Chelsea being the greatest team in the world....how many European Cups have they won again......thats right they've NEVER won the biggest trophy in club football.

The fact that Chelsea have never won the European cup has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the question of who, right now, is the best/greatest team in the world. Absolutely sweet fuck all.

Fair enough.Everyones entitled to there opinion.Dont care what statistics Mourinho drags up,I like a lot of other people find Chelsea extremely difficult to watch and do find there style of play to be boring. The football they are playing wouldnt be as entertaining as the stuff that Arsenal were playing a couple of years ago. Then again I doubt Mourinho cares as long as they keep churning out wins.

Because Liverpool are nowhere near United in the two competitions that count?

Odd time to bump and comment on this thread given all that seperates the two sides is two points and United still have to entertain Liverpool at OT.
