id rather we didn't make the play-offs. The current sad excuse we have for a national team and manager will only proceed to embarress themselves further in the event of a play-off.

I think it's a joke but rather Glasgow than Liverpool where it was played against Holland.
Ireland aren't nice to watch at the moment, aren't filling me with confidence and don't look likely to make the World Cup but I certainly wouldn't like to see us not get a chance at least of getting there. The team may not be much without Keane but we did ok in the last World Cup. I'd like to see us make this WITH Keane

When the idea of Ireland playing at Celtic Park popped up previously the Celtic board were quick to distance themselves from it as far as I know. Can't imagine Strathclyde police being too happy with the idea either.

If we dont get to the play offs (i.e. We draw or lose to the Swiss) then i couldn't have seen us beating any of those teams anyway. If we cant best the Swiss, then some of these teams would make complete sh!te out of us.
To be fair ... if we can only take 2 points from possible 6 off Israel then we are nowhere near good enough ..... no matter how many cartwheels donkey Keane does !!
If we dont get to Germany ..... then the whole system needs to be gutted and properly sorted out ..... get rid of the dead wood Don Givens and Seán McCaffrey ... they are fúcking killing us, these guys are failures and haven't got us anywhere, wont get us anywhere and never will get even close. I know its cosy jobs for the boys like but ffs .... why cant we ever give it a realistic shot at doing things right .... answer ..... because of these clowns !!

It was welcomed lately and Celtic said that security, though it would need to be tight, could be stepped up if necessary. Strathclyde also mentioned that policing would be no different from an OF match day since most people who would go to it would be Scottish probably anyway.

So what you are saying is France and the Swiss are nowhere near good enough as well as they also only got 2 points off Israel.

That decision was a disgrace what was the logic of it?
There will be rugby on in the weeks building up to it so there's no seating is that right?
If so its a load of shite rugby internationals have played with seating in terraces on the weekend before/after internationals on many occasions.
Never mind the teams performance being a joke if we play a home game away that will be the biggest joke.
