The guy is doing great things for us .... One defender broke through to the senior squad in his time ..... guess who .... you betcha ..... John O'Shea !!
His efforts for the national system have been incalculable !!

Brian, time to go.
Maybe be Don to go,but not Brian, people are really slamming Brian Kerr,i think he's doing a great job! His only fault i think is that Man City player 'Ireland' who he has pretty much has blocked him from his selection due to a incident with the under 17's or something!
Who you want to see managing them......... Mick McCarthy again or some other arrogant cunt!

Never liked kerr, dissapointed when he was announced as manager.
Ireland has had a disgraceful qualifying campaign, it was there for the taking. it should have been wrapped up by now.
But then again, when has the irish team done anything the easy way.
Come on you boys in green.

Kerr is shit. We've played some proper mince in his time but we still struggle. Bring on Martin O' Neill cos the other option seems to be O' Leary and I couldn't bear the thought of listening to him win, lose or draw.

Martin O'Neill would be a great signing by the FAI. Was reading yesterday on the back of some paper that the english FA have him shortlisted if/when sven leaves. Couldnt imagine him ever managing engurlund.

O Neill or O Leary would be better than that twat Kerr.
Saying that we have a brutal team at the moment.
And unlike other nations our big players like Duff & Keane aren't doing the business. Israel will come back to haunt us.
Can't see us beating the Swiss.
Totally outplayed by Cyprus what a joke and Kerr said we deserved it - me hole.
As for Givens - pathetic but the talent just isn't there.
Until recently I wouldn't have criticised Brian Kerr. He deserved a chance to see what he could do at that level but I think everyone can see at the moment that his negative mentality is a disaster. Any Irish team that was successful in the past had heart. As much as we criticised Jack Charlton for playing long ball football his teams always went out to chase down the opposition and "put them under pressure". Thats what Irish teams were known for. Kerr tells his players to sit back and soak up the pressure, which is fine if you're Chelsea and actually have players that can defend! Our defenders are a joke and anybody with a brain should be able to see that this is tempting fate. I'm sick of watching Irish games and screaming in frustration at his tactics.

MON would be a fantastic signing and it would actually suit him too because of the situation with his wife. He wouldn't need to devote himself fully to it. To be honest though, I could see him taking over the England job. He's determined and I think with him they could win a World Cup……..unfortunaatel y. I think we should be playing 3-5-2 for what it is worth.
Given
Cunningham - Dunne - O' Shea
Carr/Finnan Holland Duff Keane Kilbane
Morrisson Keane
I don't rate Kilbane as a left winger, but as a workhorse left wing back he would do a job. Duff in a free role behind our strikers but it's a shame we don't have a decent target man.

I think when you play 3-5-2 you need pacy defenders.
Kenny and Dunne could be exposed and if Kerr was manager it'd be a 5-3-2 without doubt not a bad option but look at the players you have listed.
They still aren't worth a shit.

You need three big, lumbering defenders. O' Shea, Cunningham and Dunne. It makes the long ball game look beautiful.

Long ball is killing Duff for Ireland though, he's not getting on it enough at all.
Against weaker opposition these guys should be able to knock the ball about but Kerr's tactics in this regard are killing us.
When Keane is playing 3-5-2 could work but trying to get some of those fuckers to work and make themselves available for the ball will take some effort.
Some of the fuckers don't even want to know about it.

I think saturdays performance summed up what the last 12 months have been under Kerr. The team started brightly but were hopelessly outplayed by an ordinary cyprus outfit for the next 40 minutes. They seemed to have no gameplan and their passing was pathetic for 11 guys who all play in the premiership. It got marginally better in the second half and Holland and Reid both have to start on wednesday but I doubt it will be enough, the Swiss are a far more organised outfit than us.
It was the poorest performace I've seen from a Republic of Ireland team in 10 years.Only for given we'd be gone already, however, I fear our dreams will finally be put to bed on wednesday

Hopefully you're wrong but I agree.
We are so unorganised its shocking.
Reid and Holland have to start.
Kilbane has to go.
Stevie Carr or else Kavanagh too depending on where you play steven reid.
Kerr will probably fuck this up anyway.
