I just got a motorla phone, with it came a usb cable and software to hook it upto my pc.

What kind of files does Motorola use for it's ring tones? And where can I find a website to download some good ones for free?

i have a motorola v3 razr phone and it plays mp3 format ringtones, i can send them with the usb cable or bluetooth.

Polyphonic are MIDI and realtones are AMR i think

Normally I'd agree, but I've got to get something instead of all the generic crappy one that the phone comes with.

How do you get mp3 files small enough to transfer over?

Polyphonic are MIDI and realtones are AMR i think.
I tried to put on the banks midi from the corkcityfc website, it plays fine on the computer but registers an error when playing on the phone.

Any other answers lads?

i just leave them at their normal size, the problem is the memory on the phone is rubbish (about 6mb), so i can only store one tune at a time.

No need to be jealous.

Fair enough the phone looks and feels cool but the operating system is shite!
Nokia are about a million miles ahead when it comes making a phone easy to use.

i find the operating system ok, but the real problem is the battery from hell...
