Campus Radio

The Cork Anthologies project continues on Cork Campus Radio 97.4FM. This month our featured guest is Benny McCabe (often referred to as 'the last publican in Cork') - owner of Cork pubs Sin É, The Oval & The Mutton Lane - in conversation with Adrian Scanlon.

In this Anthology, Benny talks about what it means to be a publican, music, binge drinking, and how Sinners pub was built on the site of a pit where prisoners were held, back in the day, among other things! There's plenty of humour throughout the chat, which is interspersed with Benny's personal music selection - so expect to hear The Pogues and Hank Wedel among others in the mix.

It's on at 11am tomorrow morning, and will be repeated on Wednesday 14th September.
