On Tuesday 13th of July next you are cordially invited to....
http://www.peoplesrepublico fcork.com/~peoplesr/forums/attachment.php?attac hmentid=112&stc=1
Elementary's first Birthday party
A year on and we're still goin strong promoting all aspects of Hip Hop culture
Obviously this week we're gonna start a little earler and the night kicks off in the Agora at 8.00
8.00 - 8.30 Donal
8.30 - 9.15 Colm Kenefick
9.15 - 10.00 Stevie G
10.00 - 10.45 Jeremy Murphy
10.45 - 11.30 Teknique + Chance and Doobious [Metabolix ] + guests MC's
We then move things 'seamlessly' to the White rooms [Bodega] for a breakdancing spectacular ft all the lads mentioned above + Corks own breakers the 'Rhythm Rebels' and Limerick BBoy legend Bazzy B
The cover Charge at the White rooms is 5e , reasonable enough we reckon due to the amount of entertainment on show
So if you want to help us celebtarte our first Birthday come along ready for a laugh and a good time and you wont be disapointed

on the eve of elementary's first birthday i'd like to go back on some highlights for me over the past 12 months:
1)the weekly slagging match/battles/eventual degeneration into non rhymed insults between myself and ross brown.......great fun.
2)the first block party where about 200 odd people surprisingly showed up, i'd like to think for a rare metabolix gig.
3) the riddim rebels and bazzie b throwing down.
4)crazy tom throwing down.
5) me throwing up
6) second block party when tuki did a showcase, again 200 people odd showed up.
7) the first official battle, which i won beating my arch nemisis ne sparring partner ross brown in the first round.
the second official battle where ross brown beat me in the final and some crazy drunk geezer went for beacuse i made mentioned ballincollig in a rhyme.
9) j remy in a shirt n tie the same night.
10) the discussion about bolo getting shot in mayfield. did it happen? who knows.
11) stevie g playing j live in pretty much every set!!! good stuff.
12) flip doing a show case followed by a ruckus mic wreckin session involving wuzza, b wonder, moi, longy and buchaill dana................ banannaz!!
13) the old wino woman pissing herself
14) whitenoise making a guest appearance.
15) the after party for whozers exhibition with da man like deviant on the 1's n 2's.
16) j remys last gig and the bitches wit the fat asses.
17)sunny d and missprint finding love (hehehe, ya pair of saps!!)
1 the fact that steve the barman still serves each and every last one of us!!!
19) the middle aged woman clearly after taking a fistfull of anphetamines last tuesday night / itchy havin a scratch.
20) the build up to this fuckin shindig that every hip hop loving motherfucker in cork should be at as if their lifes depended on it!! BUMP

9) Mr Who's Exhibition After Party in the Agora
10) MC Battle with that dodgy guy picking fights with everyone!
11) Didn't think it was possible for finding love at Elementary with
the uneven gender balance but Dosay & MissPrint are a perfect example-
awwww
12) The Male Talent on merit of their good looks & not skill ; )
13) The Talent on merit of their Skillz!

Sure if everybody else is doing it....
(1) Tues 15th July 2003 first ever Elementary (formerly known as VIBE!)
(2) Whozer painting the inaugaral VIBE! poster down the car park - could be worth money now, that one...
(3) First block party (including JD and the boys crowd participation pleaser "FUCK EM" with the doors wide open and the Gardai across at the coliseum)
(4) Introducing Bazzie to Donal, and from there whence sprouted a legend...
(5) Me and Dozay getting searched by the drug squad while cruising for a parking space... female gard - "any illegal substances lads?"... lengthy search later and no luck for the plain clothers... "good luck gards, try the reggae night in redz, ye're bound to make a killing there"
(6) Coming from Luimneach to see Tuki in action in September '03.
(7) Dozay and Lily finally getting it together and becoming Corks premier Hip-Hoppy couple. (subtleties like "Donal are you cold? why don't you get a JUMP-HER!" didn't work.)
(8) Me and Diggsy getting attention from sexy nympho's... (let's not mention that they were older than me mam)
"the second official battle where ross brown beat me in the final and some crazy drunk geezer went for beacuse i made mentioned ballincollig in a rhyme."
Yup, that memory will last a long time.
J Remington (re-christened after moving to Dublin 6) has a few CDs for yiz - hope you get a few more years out of the elementary night - its a goodun

i was talking to Jeremy, it wasn`t actually him, it was a clone of him.
he`s working in a cyborg-cloning-genetics laborotory in Dublin and sent his first creation down and apparently it fooled everyone
(`cept me that is,
he`s usually not that friendly...GGGGRRRRR RRR!!!!)
