I'm trying to hook up another computer to my wireless at home.
I'm sure I used find the key by putting my IP address in the address bar but now it doesn't work, just brings up a fastfind browser.

Any ideas?

You put in your Gateway address

Bring up the command prompt and ipconfig //all to get it.

If you mean your WEP key it's usually on a sticker underneath the modem.

Also try giving your network card a static of let's say 192.168.1.52 and then try again.

you cant access a router through the wireless unless you already know the key so use an ethernet cable to get the settings

Get rid of that for starters anyway.

Run a virus-scan or install one of the many anti-adware/spyware tools out there.

Or failing that:
