This guy topped the poll in the Bandon ward in the council elections. He lives in Belgooly and has some GAA involvement. He was electioneering with some auctioneer. And he's a member of Fianna Fail. He is my local FF rep.
But who is he ? Why did so many people vote for him ?
I have asked locally and got mixed views. They either love him or hate him it seems.
What does he do on the council ? There is no information. Does he do anything ?

Just found on the internet that he is a farmer. A plus for him in my book. But it also seems that he was the Fianna Fail leader in Cork county council. I never heard of him until early 2008. Is he still the Leader of FF on the council ?
I will make a phone call tomorrow to Ryan and co. auctioneers to see if they have a farmer from Belgooly working for them.
