... calling for resignations of bishops implicated.
You'd think this would be the minimum from any of our political leaders.

Resignations?
They should be jailed.

Of course they should. But, first step as Nell McCaferty was pointing out would be stripping of all the pomp.

It's easy to 'call for' stuff. Kenny's a plum.

Yeah, it is and Clowen can't even manage to do it. "It's up to themselves" was basically what he had to say on the matter. He really is fucking useless. How the fuck did he get in charge of this country? He was useless at every job he ever had in government. I know Ahern was an idiot as well, but he was a good actor and a snake, so I can understand how he got control of the country.

Quote
Defence Minister and Limerick TD Willie O'Dea said he was sure that Bishop Murray, who he knows personally, was examining his position and would take the appropriate action.
Taoiseach Brian Cowen refused to be drawn into the controversy and said it was for institutions and their members to determine the appropriateness of any individual to hold ecclesiastical office.
Cowen really looks like he's given up.

Kenny is a great man for calling for obvious things. He's a weak leader in my opinion.

They should have driven FF below 20% at this stage but the Varadkar wing of the party is happy with mopping up the big farmer and shopkeeper vote which involve policies which totally alienate large sections of the centrist vote.
I can't stomach voting FG at the moment.
Probably end up with the usual Labour 1, 2 and a Green or independent vote.

Clow(e)n got into power, because the fcuking snake sociopath Bertie, who should by all rights be shot for treason, put him into MoF.
The reason he put him there, was because McCreevy wasn't willing to spend recklessly, so he shipped him off to Europe and replaced him with loyal (simpleton) Clow(e)n.
Bertie got thrown out because he was caught taking bribes, eh voila!
Asshat Clow(e)n moves from MoF to Dictator.
There are no words to described how utterly screwed we are thanks to Fianna Failure.

If Fine Gael were up to anything they'd have Fianna Fail driven into the ground months ago. Kenny talks the talk, but just doesn't walk the walk.
Just thinking of who is likely to be running in Cork North Central next time out and I don't want to vote for any of them.

We've been moved into Cork North Central now.
Suppose it's for the best, no point falling between the Midleton-Mallow axis in Cork East.

Cowen should resign along with the members of the clergy.
Kenny is listening to the people and what they want,it's just unfortunate he doesn't have the power to do things.
