Poor timing and a poor idea.
I sometime wonder whether the Israelis get why so much of the world is annoyed with them at all.
Then I remember that they're generally intelligent folk and Netanyahu knows exactly what he's doing.
He'd want to be careful though. J Street is a very interesting development with regards to the Israeli lobby in the US, it could, potentially, allow the US administration to credibly threaten to withdraw military and financial support.

I'll lose a lot of faith in Obama if he doesn't do something solid with regard to this (I hope he doesn't see this post- he'd be crestfallen, I'd say). I mean what the fuck do they have to do to even get a slap on the wrist from the US?
Also, to the OP; who are you and what have you done with pudgee?

South Kerry. My plan was for the reunification of the Beara Peninsula through peaceful means and shoe-related bribery. Pudgee took it all too far* with his 'tanks to Tarbert' speech in the Victoria Hotel.
*and boy, he couldn't play guitar.

I am from the Cork side of the Beara peninsula: I was not consulted on the proposed reunification. I am not in favour of it: instead, I suggest a quick raid (shock and awe) over the Healy Pass: shoot all the males, do what you like with the females and withdraw after 36 hours.
Basically, put manners on them
