hey, i would lile to know if there is any financial help available for a start up business that is'nt covered by enterprise boards grants or leader grants ,fas, etc

i doubt it to be honest - i found that there was a hell of a lot of bluster, but noone actually willing to stump up cash, on the other hand there is a huge amount of helpful free advice available through the enterprise board - a good place to start with questions like this one

i think the credit unions and svp do wee grants for start-up businesses, they used to anyways.


The guy in the enterprise board told me many years ago that anyone starting a new business should be sure to have an account open with their local credit union, and pay a few bob into it weekly - they're far easier to deal with than the banks

The CU gives money to anyone and more again if you dont pay it back.

You may be entitled to get all of your income tax that you paid over the past three years back in the form of a start your own business grant.

nearly all the enterprise boards and such have no funding anymore.

you wont get a loan from a bank, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
