My prediction for Kerry v Longford today: Kerry to blitz Longford early on - 8 points up after 12 minutes. Longford to grind down the lead to 3 points by half time. Kerry to start the second half in whirlwind fashion and restore 8 point lead 10 minutes into the half. Longford to grind it down to 3 points by end of game.

This is the way Jack O'Connor's Kerry always play - even think back to the replay against Cork.

To trounce Kerry, you have to match (or exceed) their fire in the opening 10 minutes of each half. After that, they have nothing much to offer.

The pattern is clear, if you think back over their games with O'Connor in charge.

Depends how long Donaghy is out for (he went off injured today). It looks like they brought him back too early after that injury. Shows how desperate they have become.
