How about setting up a prociership Head 2 Head aswell Naff for a bit of variety.
I'l do it myself if you want.

Maybe limit the teams or not and the top eight take part in the knockout at the end aswell.
There won't be any run away leader and it will maintain interest for mid-table teams.
