i think the first half has shown today just how poor the officiating was in the first game at the scrum, the beast has been trying to bore like he go away with in the first test and the ref, being on the ball for once, has pinged him for it. it really is a pity that shite officiating has had such an impact on the test series
yeah, he's done well today, as has Shane Williams.

And Worsley, contrary to my predictions.
Heaslip sounds like he's been having a cracker, been listening to 5 live, so hard to tell.

He was superb for the first try, himself and Kearney have really made their mark on this tour.

the irish starters today were superb, POC lead from the front, kearney was man of the tour for me, heaslip ate up the yards, bowe's defence was superb. great game, and nice to finally see some decent officiating
A Clockwork Pear?

i need to add, and 11 point aggregate in favour of the lions, says plenty in the end.
and how pathetic, given how lightly burger's ban was, was the 'justice' armbands the saffers wore??? stank of PDV that did

That was a bit shit alright.
11 points aggregate talk is a load of bollocks, that was a very long way from a first choice XV

hardly a first choice lions team either, especially in the backs.

that is where you are wrong liam, injuries are part of any sport and all teams have to deal with them, the lions had their first choice XV out yesterday from who was available to play, the boks decided to rest some players and give experience to emerging players.

the reason matters fuck all, the fact of the matter is ~6 starters didn't play yesterday for the lions, that is not first choice

that is bollock and you know it, injury is part and parcel of sport and you select your starting XV, how can you say BOD would have been a starter for instance, he was injuried and not up for selection. The lions selected their best XV on the day while the boks didnt

again, the reason for not picking the strongest team matters fuck all lad, you always hear in sport how teams are weakened due to injury. yes, the lions picked the best team available to them on the day, but that wasn't the strongest team they could have picked of the overall squad. your point is one of the most idiotic i've heard on here in a long time, and that's saying something, in fact i can't believe that it's even being made

i feel the same about your point walter
there is a huge difference between resting players and being forced to rest players, lions had their stongest XV playing yesterday (unless of course you consider picking a concussed BOD at centre stonger)

lol, name calling, haha no need to get rattled.
now, as i have said you hear all the time, about teams who are weakened by injury, the lions were no different (unless of course you think injuries to key players makes them stronger)

The Boks could have put out a stronger team, but didn't.
The Lions could not have put out a stronger team. That was the strongest team they had available.
The Boks left a few uninjured players out of the side, by choice. The Lions had no choice.
That's the difference. It's a very big difference. The Boks thought they'd beat the Lions with their second string side, resting players for the tri-nations.
As a result, it's hard for me to accept much celebrating. It would be like Munster beating the Maoris and claiming they beat the All Blacks.
