Just noticed this, it's for good cause and looks like a bit of a laugh. Would love to try it but none of my mates have an interest in cricket and would prefer to stick to hurling :twisted: I'd be up for orgainising a random Proc team if there was interest though?
CHARITY 6 ASIDE CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Cork County is hosting the inaugural Charity 6 aside Cricket Tournament in Aid of Corks Marymount Hospice.Teams of 6 with a Maximum of 20 Teams (First come first serve).
€25 per player - €20 to the Marymount Hospice
The other €5 covers your BBQ Lunch and Dinner.
Games start at 11am, registration starts at 9am.
Team outfits/fancy dress/team t-shirts encouraged.
DJ will be in action for the day.
IF you are entering the competition please give us your team anthem.
Clubhouse will be open all day.
Coaching will be held on THURSDAY 9th JULY at the cricket club from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The competition will be predominantly beginners so it should make it a fun day out.
IF YOUR NOT INTERESTED in playing and just want to spend the day in the sun and watch your buddies your more than welcome
