Can anyone recommend some good political blogs that they read?

Irish or UK politics?

For Ireland www.mamanpoulet.com is usually worth a read.

Obviously blogs are very one-sided though and Irish blogging seems to have a fascination with Republicanism and even more so dissident Republicanism.

A good option is to just sign up for the forums on www.politics.ie

politics.ie is very censured. gaskinbalrog is good as is one called the liberal irish or the irish liberal i cant remember! ill go look it up and come back to you...

It's censored to the extent that you can't libel peopl and can't spam it.

But as a pro-Europe, pro-Lisbon poster, I've never been censored, even though the site is run by a senior member of Libertas.

Irish-wise, Cedar Lounge Revolution is fairly awesome.

Slugger O'Toole is very good for NI.

UK, there's some good stuff on the Spectator Coffee House, but it is mostly Tory.

There's Harry's Place, which does tend to have its own peculiar obsessions, but they're mine too, so I like it. Comments cen be poisonous though.

Socialist Unity's good, but perhaps a little obscure.

Dave's Part is worth a look.

go way! i never knew that! i got booted off the thing about 4 times! ceder lounge is good aswell, and curry chips, i found that irish liberal one i think its on www.theirishliberalb log.blogspot.com il go find that curry chips one there now.....
