Gold Cups, Grand Nationals, Derbies, the list is endless and his record will never be matched. What made him truly great was that he started with nothing except his genius. He started with a few greyhounds and he had to indulge in a few gambles to provide the stake money which put him on the road--pure genius.

RIP, they'll never be another like him. incredible record, no surprise he was voted both greatest National Hunt trainer and greatest Flat trainer of the 20th century.
