Who are the best eleven (picked in their usual positions) that have played for Fergie at United ?
My choice would be :-
Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Jap Stam, Rio Ferdinand, Denis Irwin, Ronaldo, Bryan Robson, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Cantona, Wayne Rooney.
Hard to exclude Scholes and Beckham but thats the ways its goes.
Gary Bailey
Paul Parker, Steve Bruce, Gary Pallister, Arthur Albiston
Andrei Kanchelskis, Stevie Coppell, Bryan Robson, Jesper Olsen
Eric Cantona, Ruud Van Nistelrooy

Mike Reilly was certainly the best ever.
I'd say Steve Bennett would definately deserves a first team place.

Beckham would have to be there.
For me in the traditional 4-4-2, no wumming involved.
Rudolph
Neville Pally Stam Irwin
Becks Robson, Scholes, Ronaldo
Hughes, Van Nistleroy

The 'Baldy French Guy' that you are referring to is probably William Prunier.

Are u being serious here Lamps ? Fergie rates Roy Keane and Eric Cantona as the two best players that he had at United - also the two most influential. No place for Ryan Giggs either ?

I'm always serious.
Robson was a better player than Keane.
Ronaldo is an infinitely superior player to Giggs. Becks at his peak would have to be in there, that means no Giggs.
Cantona was a bottler on the big stage. He shat his load against the likes of Monaco and Dortmund.
