i think that fee could even look small before the season kicks off!! Milan had to sell, like arsenal will if milan take up the senderos option. Id be surprised if he starts the season in france (if rumours are to be believed)

wont effect him because he wont have played for milan once.
think about it. twould be very much like robbie keane.
sold by spurs to pool, sold by pool to spurs
3teams in one season
sold by milan to borduex, borduex sells on to epl or bayern etc.
it he played for milan in august, then sold to borduex and then sold on i think their may be an issue. but none here.

Hopefully thats whats going to happen....french league nees big names and new competitive teams.
15M is a bargain for him but thats still a great deal for Milan as they bought him from Rennes for peanuts....if injuries dont ruin his carreer he'll become a truly great player, he's got everything to make it happen.

Has he actually gone there yet?
I really like this lad's style. he was a revelation in the euros and I'm surprised it's taken so long for a top team to come in for him.
Also, if he has moved, why are Chelsea buying players before they have a new manager in situ? Recipie for disaster in the long run if you infer that the manager will just be a coach and have little or no say in what players are brought to the club.

Arra, the vast majority of the players to come in under mourinho were his players.
But i get the point you're making. Surely madrid should be an example to everyone as well as the would-have-been saviour of manyoo, Knighton, who went on to install himself as manager for some club whose name escapes me.

when martins has a bit of confidence he's capable of scoring 20+ a season. he also gives you something different to most strikers, and is a pretty good outlet in tight games.
best of all he's probably available for about five or six million.
bassong and beye are both good. beye's a bit old though. i actually rate jose enrique though it seems i'm in the minority there. duff has been in good form but says he wants to stay (the huge salary he is on probably plays a factor).
danny guthrie could do a job for a premiership team, awful as he was in the last few months of the season.

Back in the Gerrard-Mellor red card Amsterdan tournament a young nigerian kid was THE stand-out player of the tournament. Pace to burn and a wicked shot. Every one of us there thought he'd go on to truly great things.
Despite occasional flickers of quality Martins has largely failed to use his raw talents to anywhere near their potential.

The klingon would be a good signing for Citeh.
At least Hughes is making them strong at the back before going for any marquee attacking names.

From what I can remember he got some decent game time during the 07/08 season. Seemed to disappear off the radar since then though (doubt he's a Mourinho type at all) . Fairly pacey forward/winger I think. A bit too lightweight for the Premiership I would have thought. May need time to adapt.

Darius Vassell receives hero’s welcome at Turkish side Ankaragucu
Around 3,000 fans of Turkish side Ankaragucu turned out in wild and inexplicable celebration to greet Manchester City cast-off Darius Vassell as he arrived in Turkey to discuss a transfer.
Ankaragucu fans let Manchester City striker Darius Vassell know how much he means to them
Crowd sceen: Darius Vassell looks a little concerned as he is mobbed by Ankaragucu fans on route to his hotel
There's the love: the Turkish fans of Ankaragucu try to make Darius Vassell feel at home with a spot of art work
Amid chaotic scenes, Vassell was mobbed and surrounded by excitable well wishers of the capital club, draped with flags in the club’s colours and looked visibly shocked as the crowd chanted his name and let off flares.
Many of the supporters were brandishing home made placards bearing slogans of love for the former Aston Villa and England striker.
‘Hands in the air, Vassell is here!’ whilst another read ‘You are more than a player, we are more than a club – welcome to Ankaragucu.’
The hysterical scenes, which would appear curious to an English audience who have witnessed Vassell’s steady decline in recent seasons to the point where he has barely featured for City in the last 12 months, were stoked by the club’s chairman, Cengiz Topel Yildirim.
“We’ve terminated the pre-negotiations with Darius Vassell,” Yilidirim said on Turkish radio ahead of Vassell’s arrival.
“We aim to secure a big signing as this year is our centenary. He [Vassell] will visit the city and our installations. Then he will make a decision.
“I hope we can include him in our squad.”
Around 50 buses and 250 cars followed Vassell’s progress from the airport to hotel - reminiscent of title winning celebrations rather than the possible signing of a faded English star.
Memories may still be fresh in the minds of the Turkish fans of Vassell scoring the crucial opening goal in a Euro 2004 qualifier for England at the Stadium of Light or his terrific strike against Holland on his debut for the national team.
Regardless, should the deal be completed, Vassell will have great expectations to live up to at his new club.

Guardiola has wanted rid of Etoo since the start of last season as he is a complaining, conflictive element in the dressingroom. He didn't sell him at first as he was a novice manager. One year, and 3 major trophies later Pep has all the power he needs.

Its obvious that he wants to get rid of him, but its still ridiculous business. You are talking about one of the top strikers in world football here, being replaced by someone who is nowhere near as consistent and lumping a big wad of cash on top of that. Barca may not have won as many trophies last year without Eto'o but clearly something is wrong.

That wanna-be call centre worker Phil Brown has got the huff with Daniel Cousin as he wouldnt shake his hand after been subbed in a 5-1 defeat and is being set out on loan- looks like Jamie Redknapp will have to get off on that one!!
Getting McShane in as well has virtually guaranteed that they will go down:p:

Cudicini is a good keeper
And he rates Gomez ahead of him
James is coming in on big wages that could be used elsewhere (central defence)
Spurs have been involved in some crazy turnover of players though over the last few years
it's like rafa and his 15 full backs all over again
I see why he got Kranjar in (for Modric) but he is a terribly inconsistent player
still though Harry has a chance of doing something this season
