Honest question and I know the backlash its going to bring from the SFI. But honestly is he?

Can't recall a good game all season and the 6 Nations was almost a disaster save for the drop goal. McGahan keeping him on and calling Warwick off was a bad call. I know people will say its a bad season, but at 32 years of age what next.

Ominous signs for Ireland, one of Keatley, Humphries or Sexton will need to stand up and be counted on one of the tours this summer.

Discuss.

ROG's tactical kicking game has definitly gone backwards in the last year or so but he has improved his abilitiy to release the back line. I dont think his tactical kicking game was a huge problem with TOL taking the box kicks but this is a part of Stringers game that isnt up there with TOLs.

Personally id have Warwich at number 10 for munster as i feel his tactical kicking is above ROGs at the moment and he is every bit as capable of releasing the back line. But this is never going to happen when ROG is Irelands number 10. This is perhaps the essence of the problem for ROG - no competition for his place?

I think he has a lot left in him. I'll take your word for it on his performances this season as I haven't seen all the games but there is no doubt the man has talent. Up to yesterday he suffered from the delusion that all the Munster team suffer from ie: "We are unbeatable". He believed the hype. Hopefully the Leinster Lesson will encourage him to go back to basics.

Keatley with a half decent team around him is worth a shot as well.

ROG has never recovered properly from a disastrous world cup.
When he's on form he's a match-winner but these days it's more about if than when.
The Lions tour could finish him off if the BOKS don't get him first.
A great servant of Ireland, nevertheless, even if he is a 24-carat wanker.

I think you mean the British and Irish Lions ... and The Baggist Union will be supporting them against South Africa as all sound English and Irish fans should.

I've seen him several times this season on Setanta and he's not up to it at all. His kicking is poor both from the ground and out of hand. Makes some poor decisions with the ball in hand as well. He's not the answer.

The few games I've seen he wasn't bad at all, needs a move away from Connacht really theres talk of a move back to Leinster which would be good seeing Cheika has finally stopped his Necawa at 10 experiment.

With cuntipony gone, Cheika will hopefully give Sexton a good go of it. We need to do something with Keatley though. Not sure Leinster would want 2 inexperienced outhalfs.
Warrick has played better the ROG at OH a good few times this year and ROG has been shit for Ireland for 2 years now. It really is time for a change and we should bite the bullet rather than drag this out for another year or 2. Not sure Sexton is up to it and he's a bit of a petulant child but we have to do something. It's not like ROG isn't a cock.
