Better team won on the day, absolutely no complaints.

Leinster hit the rucks with far more intensity and really deserved this victory today. I do think there was a bit of complacancy from the munster team but let that not take from the great performance leinster put in.

I hope that today wasnt their final

Leinster deserved it. I really thought Munster would pull out all the stops in the sceond half but it never got going for them.

I would be worried that this may have be Leinsters big match, but i underestimated them today so i wont be doing that again for the final.

Three cheers for Leinster.

The 'ladyboys' played with a verve and intensity that Munstershire simply couldn't live with.

Anyone wearing sunglasses at a rugger match should be pistolwhipped.

they completely outplayed munster today (despite losing almost all their own lineouts) best team won, I just hope they don't do a france (or even themselves) and bottle it in the next match

up, leinster!

Do, you, have any idea, of, how punctuation, works?

Anyhow Leinster deserved the win. I think maybe munster started to believe their own bullshit but even so, there was so many basic errors it was ridiculous. Towards the end the resembled an under-14's b - team they looked so out of shape. But let that not take away from an excellent Leinster team, especially in defense.

Speaking of the infamous Munster bandwagoning - i live in Stoneybatter in Dublin and there was a fair amount of Leinster bandwagoning going on. Watched the match in my local pub and there was a few knick-knacks who's only experience with a rugby player before the match was mugging a Belvedere student and robbing his Canterbury bag. Don't think Munster can claim exclusive rights on bandwagoning.

Good to see an irish team in a major final tho.

Kidney showed the leinster players how to be men, Munster were out Munstered.
O'Driscoll was incredible again, Elsom the same, fair play to them.
Hope they go all the way now, maybe this childish bickering between Munster and Leinster will stop once they have both won it.

outplayed, outrun, out-thought and out-fought.

No arguments and good luck to them in the final.

Heartbroken but really hope Leinster win the final. Would be delighted to see BOD get a medal...

Munster are still the best team in Europe by a country mile - everyone has an off day and you can't afford that in cup competitions unfortunately.

Leinster were the better team, their defence was unreal and Munster just werent at the races at all. Bitterly disappointing result.
Hope Leinster go all the way in Edinburgh.

Don't think it's a case of Munster not being at the races, sometimes you only play as well as the opposition let you and that was certainly the case yesterday. Munster needed to come out firing in the second they tried but Leinster got the crucial second try.

Leinster's defense was fantastic, they took a battering from Quins and Munster and still kept them out, that will stand to them in the final.

Like I said before, I hope that wasn't the peak, but listening to Cullen and O'Driscoll afterwards their heads were well screwed on so fingers crossed for them.
They have the beating of both Leicester and Cardiff.

Some performance by leinster against the European(soon former) champions.
Hope they go on and win it now.

It's just that nothing went their way from kicking into touch to simple passing. It was the polar opposite of the Ospreys game where Munster couldnt put a foot wrong even if they wanted to. It was tough as a spectator in Croker yesterday, we, the fans were just shell shocked. Once Luke Fitz got that try at the start of the 2nd half we were gone. Munster needed that crucial first score after half time. They didnt capitalise on the numerical advantage when Cian Healy was sin binned or when Contepomi got injured (even thought Sexton was a more than ample replacement).
It reminded me of when Cork were going for the three in a row in 06, no one gave Kilkenny a chance and Cork started to believe the hype and look what happened.
If Leinster paly half as well as they did yesterday, they'll have no problem in 3 weeks time.

We'll be back anyway!!

Quite agree Brad.
Leinster fully deserved their victory and I hope that they can win it now.
Munster seem to have left their best behind them in the Ospreys game after
which they appeared invincible.
Cup Rugby is about what happens on a particular day though so Leinster will
have to be a bit wary about the final.

Indeed, Leicester have been there done that with regard to the finals, but Leinster have their heads screwed on so they know what to do. Jackman is a liability the Tigers lionout is good. Should be a great game.

Im not particularly worried. Leinster derserved it no doubt.

However we stormed through the Magners League, played the best rugby in Europe, had 8 players picked for the Lions and lost a derby in the semi. Still number one ranked team in Europe and have being the best in Europe for the last 3 odd years. Some analysts have suggested they are the best in the world and i truly believe that - however revenege and motivation is a cunt and they came up against that on Saturday.

No doubt we will be favourites for next years competiton when the final is over - why? Because they are the best team in Europe.

I'd have fancied us to take Leicester handily enough looking at their team.

I think people understimated the loss of Tipoki if you ask me - he was the main man in the backline alongside ROG and kept things together defensively and kept Mafi in check.

Roll on next year...

Munster cant win it all the time.It is so sad to see this forum brought down by some sad sad jealous people who hate the game of rugby, and are using this loss as a sad excuse to be little the game.
Shame on them.

Maffs defensive work has come on a lot this year

Earls shooting out of the line was the problem yesterday and he still needs work in this department, the lions tour will help with this though as will a few more years experience
