as i've said in the bari thread, the thing about fatty reid is this: he might not last a whole match, and his defence isn't great, but at least he offers something different, like the ability to pass the ball. 20 minutes off the bench when the opposition are tiring would be ideal, but trap doesn't do substitutions or tactical changes.

Reid can pass the ball , he can beat a man occasionally and he's good in a dead ball situation ..something that we seem to be lacking. Liam Brady used to sing his praises on RTE but now that he's part of the Trap bandwagon ..he has to toe the party line.

I have to say that i have met andy reid on numerous occasions and know his brothers well , and i have to say that he is not a sour so and so, as someone put it earlier.

So he broke the curfew once ....he apologised ...it should be over..........Trappa toni is holding a grudge obviously and its a grudge that could ultimately cost us dearly in terms of qualification.

Imagine if Jack Charlton had held a grudge against McGrath for curfew breaking.......he'd have about 2 caps.

Oddly enough, the way it panned out tonight made for a game that was tailor made for Reid. Robbie did brilliantly in the hole, but this was an occasion where the fat one could have done his stuff.
