anyone elses heads wrecked by this wan?
rte seem to keep introducing this fuckin eejit "reporting" on highlights of other games.
theres something wrong with a womans voice reading a script on a mans game.

Nothing to do with her being a woman, but she is awful. Very irritating voice, and can't pronounce foreign names to save her life.
She's not too bad when she sticks to her comfort zone in GAA though.

She used to read the sports news on TV3. I had to close my eyes when she was on. Her head constantly moving about the place was too much! It's only a matter of time before she is behind the RTE sports desk doing more of the same:cry:

How do these people pass job interviews in fairness? Herself and Marty Morrissey, I mean come on.
If they were doing sports analysis (a la Dunphy, Giles and Pope) then fair enough, but there are only bloody presenting, and badly at that. Sports presenters should only be required to look good and bring a bit of glamour into proceedings. Look at Sky Sports by way of an example.
They get the delectable specimen that is Millie Clode, and we get Joanne 'bag of chisels' Cantwell. Life is not fair I tell ya.

My favourite Joanne Cantwell moment was when she asked Eddie O'Sullivan if he was resigning after the Argentina game atthe 2007 world cup. It looked like he was going to stand on her.
This is her last week trying to interview intrepid water carrier Kieran Donaghy in front of the hill during halftime in the Dublin Kerry quarter final. excellent stuff

She absolutely ruins highlights. eg. "Rooney broke the dead lock with this long range shot just after half time" and she has the whole thing said before rooney even gets the ball. She needs a spoiler warning. I know there isn't normally that much time for the highlights, but still....
