well maybe if the pricks just sorted it among themselves and stop emailing people, badgering people etc then it would have to be sorted.
Personally ive stayed out of the debate because frankly i dont give a shit. but im starting to get fuckin annoyed with the waste of time etc the whole things taking. People are losing their jobs, losing their homes, people are busy getting new jobs, busy buying new homes, people are tired of the downturn, people are tired of the recession.
who gives a fuck if players dont want to play, then dont fuckin play. be fuckin men, roy keane didnt start sending emails out saying ill play for my country again if the people are behind me etc, he hold press conferances, meetings, announcements, protest marches or nothing. He just fucked off.

amen is right. I dont give a flying fuck whos wrong or whos right. If you dont want to play for a fella dont play. This whole thing is a farce and the biggest form of public blackmailing/bullying ive ever seen. No player is bigger than the county, no board is bigger than the county, no manager is bigger than the county. If the players had any kinda backbone then theyd just fuck off. If the manager had any kinda backbone then he'd just fuck off and if the county board had any kinda back bone then they should just fuck off.
If mc carthy and the players both have the countys best interests at heart then they should all retire. Let the county start a fresh and rebuild with a new crop of players who will play for cork.
kunts the lot of um.

They should organise a scatter down the pairc.
Bare-knuckle shit.
Whoever wins the scrap, wins the argument.
It must be a fight to the death, though.
We can't be having fellas coming out out the regional with stitched up gums and broken jaws and chewed earlobes screaming for revenge.
€20 entrance fee.
The pairc would be sold out.
The proceeds could be used to give the losers a state funeral.
Everybody wins.

The Cork Hurlers thread has been the biggest event to ever hit the proc, one night last week at half 10 there were 250 people viewing the thread. Its playing a big role in changing the face of the GAA in cork.
That its rattling the likes of Naff and the SoccerAm gang is yet another excellent side-effect. Is there anything that thread can't do?

if either side really loved the county, theyd just fuck off. this is doing the sport no favours and sums up why i hate the sport in the first place.

That people are not willing to do so shows how much it means to them. I can see where you are coming from but I'd personally support what is happening now in Cork GAA for however long it takes to effect change in how it is run, so that it can reach its full potential on a national stage.
Is it more important than people losing jobs, world poverty, hunger and disease? No, but that doesn't mean people don't genuinely care about it.

im considered weird that i dont follow gaa by most of my circle.
most people who follow soccer follow soccer, most people who follow rugby follow rugby, most people who follow gaa try to make out it some kinda way of life, it borders on a cult in some families.
ffs. get a life the lot of ye. its a sport. and the manager, players & county board have their own agendas and are using the public to try and fight it.
as i said if they had the interests of the county to heart theyd be willing to walk away to prove the ultimate point. but none of them will. reeks of their own self importance. and that goes for all sides. i dunno whos more wronger(yes i fuckin said wronger) in all this, as i said i dont give a fuck but right now cork hurling is worse than glenda gleeson for being on papers, radios, blogs, forums, social networking sites, and bathroom catalogs. If they all cared they wouldnt be scoring points off each other and be willing to walk.
in sport weeks are a short time. if they manager leaves he could be saying i told you so in a few short months. likewise the players, likewise the board.

That is a sacred privilege. You are honoured to be able to say that. But with this privilege comes responsibilities. One of them is to stand up for your county when she is hurting. Defend her. She has given you so much to be proud of, so much to help you through even the darkest of hours, so much that you take for granted.
But now, dark forces are threatening, even hurting our beloved county. She needs all of her brave sons and daughters to come to her aid. She rarely asks, but this is one ocassion when you are being asked to pay back just a teeny bit for everything she has given you down the years, and your forefathers down the centuries. Did she become a Dublin, or a Leitrim, or dare I say it a Kerry?
No. She did not. She remained true to her beliefs, and steadfastly remained aloof, above all other counties on this island, so that when the time came for you, me, and all other Corkonians to be born we were imbued with that inner passion, that self belief, that confidence, that swagger that people from Dublin can't understand, that innate quality, that Corkness, that we all take for granted.
Now in this rare hour of need she needs you. She is calling for your assistance. Look deep into your heart, evaluate your beliefs, delve deep within your very soul, and tell me that you are not going to stand up for what she needs, the thing that she demands from all of us: our unyielding defiance of her enemies, our strong defence of her honour, and our 100% commitment to never ever contemplate for one second turning our back on this county that we love, this county that nurtured us, this bountiful county surrounded by silver shining seas, this beautiful stepped and steepled city, this hallowed ground: this Cork.

Right, so so you don't give a shit. So much so, you start a threat saying that you don't give a shit and then go on to espouse some very strongly held opinions as detailed above....
Understood.

Thread...
Forgive me.
I just find it a little odd that somebody would start a thread on a forum deliberately soliciting responses about a subject that they are sick to death of hearing about...unless of course they are either:
a) Stupid.
ii) Acting to another agenda.
Which is it numbnuts?

You can tell anyone you like. I just think its odd to address it on a forum where people clearly do care.
What response were you hoping for?

Just messing. I can appreciate that you don't care, but bringing it up in an arena where there are those that do seems a little strange unless you are deliberately provoking folk.
Not only that, going on to berate those that care on either side of the debate seems even more strange. I hope you can understand that point of view.

no its not it shows ive no agenda and dont care for either party with the bollick acting they all doing. its bad enough the players have done what they done. Its bad enough the management and the board have done what they done. The ordinary joe soap is now being used like a pawn to fight a fight that no one is going to end up winning.
its disgusting out of all parties.
it could only happen down here. The rest of the counties must be laughing at cork again. Its actually embarassing to be associated to this shambles.
none of them should carry on. they should all be fucked out and start again with the common goal being the county.
