There should be a Sigerson option, higher than U21 but lower than senior intercounty

Does it make a difference where the county medal was won, though? I mean, all due respect to Liam, and he's certainly a better player than I ever was, but winning a county medal in London isn't the same as winning one in Cork.

Ha ha, that probably explains it.
Isn't Lamps a Nemo boy? I'm presuming from his level of expertise he must have played at a very high level with them. Probably Player/Manager at some stage.
And Club Secretary.
And lined the pitch.

If this is the case, then I should amend my response to Junior C, only played Junior A league. Then the demon drink took over. Plus I was kinda shit anyway.

Me too!!! I feel your pain!!! Playing with Seandun we were always beaten before we got on the pitch. They're trying to make a difference now though and gave Ilen Rovers a good run for their money last year

Senior level. Captained a county winning minor team (though at A level, not Premier) and trained once with Cork minors. All in football.
I found my true calling then in rugby!

Minor football and Hurling, but was fairly blind already by then so the hurling was being left to one side. I did play a small bit of under 21 football and I have a vague memory of playing a senior league match one day when Nicks were really stuck for players: The fact that I weighed about 9 stone as an 18 year old didn't help my senior debut! Won a juvenile Hurling County against Middleton if memory serves me (that would be 1981 or so). Lost interest when I went to college for the most part.

damn, was hoping that no one would remember that
in my defence the hurling in london at the time, albeit filthy as fuck, wasn't too bad we had a couple of players who had played senior county back in ireland when they lived there
i also played coirn ui mhuire with fachtna's if that helps :D

When did you win the county Minor medal? When did you play Corn Ui Mhuiri?
Highest i've played is Senior Championship (UCC and Carrigdhoun). Won Corn Ui Mhuiri with Criost Ri, played University League matches at senior and won a county section Minor Premier, and lost 2 Intermediate Football County Finals.

minor was 2004 with gabriel rangers, left fachtna's the same year so would have been the 03/04 year. didn't get past the group stages though, we had a very poor team that year
