29/05/2008 :
a very very limited player who done and played exceptionally well.
Hell be missed. Him and especially bullard are the only reasons fulham are in the premiership next year.

not 100% sure as i read someone elses breakdown but
lost 8 and drew 3 without mcbride and bullard.
won 6 drew 2 and lost 1 with them?

Oh yeah, If those statistics are accurate, I take your point on board.
But I wouldn't be saying ''fuck Roy Hodgson''.
He's been managing over 30 years.
ebenezer

and would have been sacked only for a complete turn around with a few weeks to go. what happened the first few months he was in charge?
look at the amount of times hes been sacked. sure you could argue he like wenger done in england changed swedish football. but other than that his managerial record is poor very poor. Hes win percentages at each club is pathethic.
The only place i think he ever broke the 50% win ratio was copenhagan.
just checked wiki there.
fulham 30%
finland 27.7%
udinese 41%
blackburn 35%
bristol 15%..
and i reckon if you check the other teams its as bad.
Arsene wengers at arsenal over 11 years is nearly 58%. Alex fergusons is 58%
take his blackburn record......
played 62 games.
won 22, lost 22, drew 18,
fuck roy hodgson. wouldnt want him in charge of my fantasy football team let alone actual team.
I reckon he could be first for the sack come the new season.

I never mentioned anything about his calibre.
Which he has in abundance.
He's seen it all before.

Let's not overlook the masterstroke he directed with 25 minutes to go at Maine Road (or whatever it's called nowadays) when his side were 2-0 down in late April.

just because you have experience doesnt mean your a decent manager.
ian dowie has experience. steve mc claren had experience. lawrie sanchez was as experienced as they come.
fuck roy hodgson.
it was a B&B survival. bullard and bride.
ebenezer
01-03-2009, 12:41 AM
he brought on kamara. fair dues.
but who was the man running the show even when man city went two nil up? bullard. in fact mc bride went off which for me shows it was bullard was the main man behind fulhams revival.
man city were impressive for the first hour. very impressive but bullard was winning every ball, blocking shots, etc. man city fell away rather than fulham upped their game. I think man city tought the game was one because bar bullard there was nothing from fulham in the first hour.
take nothing away from him in that tie. his subs had a massive impact. fair play. but what two players were in the team again for that win? bullard and mc bride.
hodgson was close to the sack and he dodged a bullet.

Iain Dowie - 6 years in management.
Steve McClaren - 7 years in management.
Lawrie Sanchez - 14 years in management (with a 4 year break).
Hodgson has more experience than the 3 of those together.
---------------------------------------------------------------
I never said he was a ''decent'' manager.
But for the record, I think he is.

I like Bullard.
I just can't understand how you could be so dismissive of Roy Hodgson regarding Fulham's survival.

If you are incapable of comprehending Roy Hodgson's achievement of keeping Fulham in the Premier League, then you are very, very naive. And that's putting it nicely.
He is, after all, their MANAGER.
ebenezer
01-03-2009, 12:45 AM
wow hodgsons stats are less than fergies. revelation. i dont think you'll find many managers breakin 40% let alone 50%.
hodgson took over a team in freefall, got them playing some half decent football rather than lumping it long, stuck to his guns despite losing the first few games and eventually played their way out of relegation. bullard and mcbride have been at the team for the past few seasons when they hadn't won away in 34 matches. under hodgson they won 2or 3 away on the bounce. fuck hodgson alright.

6 weeks ago here people were wanking over bolton and before the win today they were starting to get pulled right back into a relegation battle.
hodgson shafted fulhams best player and forced him to leave. Yet another reason for me to not rate the cunt.
Ive no problems apologising when he keeps them up. In fact id have bumped it and saved you a hell of a lot of bother. The same way ill gve megson kudos and a shout out if he keeps bolton up.
