Very harsh on Peter Stringer in my opinion. Calling a man who played at the top level for such a long time a player "who would struggle to get a third place in a guinness premiership team" is out of order.

Sure he has his limitations but his speed of pass and ability to control his forwards were key to Ireland and munster's success for years. Not the greatest scrum half ever but did his job well.

Jones is a bitter old cunt...writes an article praising O Gara but has to have a swipe at Stringer...the man is an idiot and im surprised that a newspaper like the times lets him write such garbage week after week.

If Jones believes there are 36 better scrum halves than stringer in the premiership then the man is insane. Im waiting for next sundays article where after Gavin Hesson plays 10 mins off the bench against France Jones writes how the lions may aswell stay at home without Henson at 12
