Bit of a shock. Rumours of Morely and Caulfield taking over.

Typical Cork City.Being run by a chancer so what more do you expect. It is surprising that the club has any fans left at this stage.

Alan Mathews deserved a lot better than this.

Very dissapointed about this, a step backward after all the recent good news about players signing contracts.

So he was left go to save money? Is he not entitled to a pay off now with 2 years left on his contract?

Was just starting to genuinely like him and all.

City are like newcastle although city would know a bit more about winning trophies.

Never a dull moment in Cork soccer.Sometimes it feels like they are just changing the deckchairs on the titanic.
Hopefully at least some proper measures will be made to bring the club into the community this time..Grass roots begins when kids can kick a ball not when they are 14/15.
Anyone on here actually involved in the club?

That's the baffling thing. They will probably have to pay up his contract plus the back money he's owed from earlier this year.

A fooking kerryman training the Cork hurlers.

Thats just pissing in our eyes!

Tom Coughlan apparently in talks with the assistant manager of Douglas Hall Youth side about becoming the new manager at Cork City.

Cost cutting and all that.
