I actually can't believe I put Arsenal down as a draw- looking at the results all night, I thought I had it down as a home win.

Porto lock and BATE did good, but still a bit gutted, ..had big considerations for a United draw at the price, ...and was moved off Celtic for a little bit of poor value at 2.3
But still felt 6/8 was probably there for the taking ...4/8 is okay with two good payouts.

...how about in future could we pm the selections to someone who can throw them up early doors..

both of us got our locks (mine was kiev) but you calling the draw in turin and i foolishly thinking arsene would field a strong lineup to build on the momentum gained from their last 2 league wins mean you probably had the better night and thus increased your lead in the tie.

ideally i would have held off finalising my picks until seeing the team sheets (ie. barca & arsenal) but the time difference and my fatigue meant it wasnt an option.

its a system we ran in a work comp while i was in australia on the afl.



as things stand we each bet 180 each night (8 games,7x20 & 1x40).

under the weighted system each player has 100 points or euro and simply attributes the points/euro as they see fit on each game.

eg. 32 pts on united to beat allborg,14 points on real to beat zenit etc etc.

winning calls work the same - 14x(odds)=
losing calls = stake = (32).


set parameters on the max/min betted on each game (ie.5/50)



as i said just putting it out there to gauge peoples reaction/criticism.

its an alternative to the current system and also greater flexibilty imo especially heading into the knockout stages where there would be less games.
