Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you all know I'm organizing a Christmas day swim in aid of Stuart Mangan.
Stuart is from Fermoy, Cork and in April of this year a simple rugby tackle left Stuart with a devastating spinal injury. Stuart’s injury is categorized as C1 Complete, he is completely paralyzed from the neck down and unable to breathe without a ventilator. Stuart will require 24-hour medical care for the rest of his life. You can read more about Stuart here -
http://http://www.stuartmangan.org/
I'm sure most people have heard about Stuart already and I wanted to invite anyone interested in doing the Christmas day swim for Stuart to drop me an email (elizabeth.sheeran@g mail.com)and I can give them a sponsorship card.
The online site to sponsorship everyone already doing the swim is available here -
http://http://www.mycharity.ie/event/swimforstuart
Even if you can't swim, any donation, no matter how small, will help Stuart to live as good a life as he can in spite of his severe injuries.
Everyone from Cork who already knows about this has really rallied for Stuart and I wanted to let the people of People's Republic about it too as maybe some of you would be into helping out also.
Thanks so much for reading!
Elizabeth
