Watched the first 70 minutes tonight, they're totally pathetic. Still got no spine a couple of years after the Galactico policy was ditched. Some of their "efforts" to compete in midfield tonight were just retarded.

More circus shennanigans at the Bernebeu tonight. Real went behind 3 times to Malaga and had Sergio Ramos sent off but still ended up winning 4-3. Luckily for them Higuain's on fire at the moment. He got all 4.

Out of the Copa del Rey to Real Union of the Segunda B division. You'd think that taking a 2-3 deficit home to the Bernebeu would see them through but not for these jokers. Won 4-3 tonight so out on away goals. :lol!:

More madness tonight against another Segunda B outfit. This team is currently losing 4-0 to Alcorcón with about 20 minutes left:
DUDEK; ARBELOA, METZELDER, ALBIOL, DRENTHE; DIARRA, GUTI; GRANERO, VAN DER VAART; RAÚL Y BENZEMA

Couldn't happen to a nicer club

The substitutions were:
Gago on for Guti at HT
Marcelo on for Granero 63'
Van Nistelrooy on for Raul 72'
Not a novice in sight and they concede four against a third tier club. You couldn't make it up.

How do you spend around €200 million and still have an imposter like Guti in the squad.

Ronaldo has made the biggest impact by far from all the new signings over the summer, without him there shagged. Kaka and Benzema have let to lift off, Madrid just do not gel well together at all, even infront of goal they bottle it alot for such an attacking force. Get some manager in there that's not influenced by anything be it media, or the hierarchy and sort them out with a boot up the arse.

They had him, twice. He won the league, twice. They got rid of him, twice.

All of them, when they're still getting paid their huge salaries.

The problem at Madrid is the figure of the "director deportivo"/sporting manager previously Mijatovic and now Valdano. It's this figure who has a big say in the signings with very little imput from the manager. The dd is always close to the club president and form part of their election "package".
Pellegrini is the type of manager they chose because he won't kick up a fuss. Capello resigned after his first stint at the club because he wouldn't stand for any interference in any team matters. He was sacked from his second term as Mijatovic was covering his own back. Schuster, another strong character, didn't speak to Mijatovic.
You couldn't imagine someone like Mourihno putting up with this shite!

When Jorge Valdano was first team manager at Madrid, Benitez was B team manager. They didn't get on and because of that Rafa left. Valdano was fired not long after so who knows? Maybe if Rafa had stuck it out he'd be enjoying the delights of living and working in Madrid rather than the dump he's stuck in now! ;)
