so if you think the service you get from aer lingus was bad in the past, just wait for the ould ones on board being bitches from hell while serving you the slop they call food...although some would say that happened years ago..
at least with the US based crews operating the transatlantic flights, you might manage to get a smile out of them when asking for a glass of water...

I tried to book an Aer Lingus flight on the 'phone the other day and got a woman who could barely speak any English.
The last time I got a smile off an Aer Lingus stewardess was in 1998.
A national carrier with the service levels of a budget airline - I hope the fucking thing sinks without trace and Michael O'Leary buys the rest of it.

Beg to disagree - British Airways cabin crew are the worst in the world.
Whereas American Airlines crew are recruited from more mature women who take a sanguine view about fellas getting oiled to help the trip go by.
Well, at least they do in Business Class and that's all I really travel.

American Airlines Business vs. BA Club World??? Your having a laugh biyeen. (Or it's still circa 1985 in your little world).

I find American Airlines Business Cabins on their 777s to be the job. Worst business class has to be Iberia. Their "lounge" in Madrid is a shithole, and onboard they are really stingy with their drinks.

American Airlines flight attendants are excellent. Virgin Atlantic are good too.

Lads,

Singapore Airlines are the benchmark.

We all know this.

Lads,

Singapore Airlines are the benchmark.

We all know this.

......because of you.

I'd agree also on Virgin, but I can't connect through Europe with them, so I'm a bit fucked. SAS are actually an option for me too out of Zurich to the states, but I don't know what to make of them.

I dunno -I normally do the Atlantic half a dozen times a year and have done for the past 15 or so years.
I find BA incredibly snooty and actually not that good in business; Virgin is a bit funky but all that tiresome youthfulness can get you down.
But American Airlines crew are proper old-fashioned broads who've been doing it quite a while and they know when to keep topping up the bubbly and when to leave you alone.
And they'll have a good 'aul chat with you back in the galley when you're hunting out more booze - BA Stewardesses seem more interested in their make-up.
However, airlines are very much a subjective choice although don't get me started on Delta.

Have to agree AA or Delta give a good servic. Travelled with both recently and was very impressed!!
