Now that the GAA season is as good as over there is something that i would like to know the answer to where does all the money that the GAA make every year go to ? they haul in tens of millons of $ each year and pay out virtually nothing ok they rebuilt Croke Park but that is the only real expense that they have had in their history
Question - where does all the money go to ?

All above board I am sure.

also Redshirter, you'll really have to try harder than lines like
"they haul in tens of millons of $ each year and pay out virtually nothing"

You can go to any GAA club in the country and
you will find the best of facilities.
Clubs like Nemo and Mallow leading the way in re-development
of their grounds have been looked after by HQ.

The money goes back in all over the country and not just in Cork..

of course there are, not every club can afford to do what Nemo and Mallow have done. I've played in plenty shitholes in my time (Pilmore anyone???) But every club is entitled to apply for grants from the Munster Council, whether they make use of it or not, is up to them.

It is a bit mad we don't have any top grade facilities
for the inter county lads.
Anyone see the piece on what Tyrone are planning to do
with this new facility they're building.. 'centre of excellence'
we should have been the first to do all of this and got the head start we need instead of having to play catch up..

the Cork County Board are miles behind their counterparts when it comes to being proactive instead of reactive.
as an example, compare the following two websites and tell me which County Board has it's finger on the pulse:
http://cork.gaa.ie/
or
http://www.tyronegaa.ie/

You are aware that there is a GAA club in nearly every parish in the country?
