A lot of attention has gone to Cluj winning in Rome. But at least Romanian football has some pedigree. Once upon a time Steaua Bucharest even won the European Cup.

I reckon Werder Bremen being held at home by Anorthosis Famagusta may actually be worse. Cyprus is a tiny country, much smaller than Ireland. Famagusta is a football club that doesn't even have a town any more and their ground can't even take 10,000 people.

Honorable mention must go to PSV Eindhoven. While Atletico are obviously a big team, getting thrashed 3-0 at home is fairly poor for a club with their pedigree.

Still Roma for me. I wouldnt even put the PSV result in there to be honest, not many people even in our predictions competition fancied a home win, Athletico are a very dangerous side.

Athletico would win the Dutch league most years with the team they have currently. A bad result indeed for PSV but an embarassment, not quite.

PSV are massively over-rated and pretty average while Athletico are handy enough on their day

Roma are better than European teams like Milan and Madrid and good at home

This was an embarassing result

They have had a terrible start to the their season

Has to be Cluj.

Steaua and Dinamo have actually done well in the UEFA Cup latterly, but Cluj aren't in the same universe as that pair.

Weaker teams always have a chance of getting a draw against bigger teams. In fact, I'm not that shocked by Anorthosis doing just that.

Weaker teams going and winning away against a team from Europe's big three leagues IS big news though. It's simply a shocker of a result.

Atléti winning 3-0 at PSV is nothing but a fair outcome given their respective strength at present.

got to be cluj for me. i was only slightly surprised at the scoreline of the psv match but not one bit surprised that atletico won. as for cluj i am surprised at the result and manner of it as well. its not like they got a lucky goal and hung on. they were worth the victory and scored twice.

They haven't been the same since they lost their mercurial Korean superstar alright..

Well they were inches away from the final that year in fairness

Although the Korean bench warmer played an important Kuyt/Keane like role in a Champions league victory last year, and a title victory the year before

Squad player though really

Kuyt/Keane
Please don't put those names near each other like that. It makes me uncomfortable.

It was meant that way:) myself and Philby are always like two kids in the playground with United/Liverpool

Keane = Kuyt 2.0.

The first goal by Cluj last night was brilliant.
