According to Ronnie Whelan, one of our many experts on European football. Seriously like, is it too much to ask for these people to do a small bit of fucking research for their job, its a joke at times.

He is neither an ex-Zenith player or a loss to his previous club.

in fairness he kinda questioned himself as he said it. understandable mistake. that cantwell wan was vexing the poor fucker anyway goin on about his predictions from the beginning of last season. why is she on tv? whelan is not the worst at all. gilesy is the biggest embarrassment when it comes to lack of research, which in any business should be proportionate to his salary, which i presume is huge. brass neck though.

He half questioned himself but continued on, made it even worse! They are all as bad as each other IMO, Dunphy deserves a big mention too.

dont get me started on rte coverage especially that excuse for a pundit dunphy. entertaining (for the sporting inept) yes, good analysis no. we have to be subject to whatever mood eamon is in. i never ever say this but i actually despise eamom dunphy. a cancer on sports punditry!

Peter Collins mentioned something about hearing the Samba beat at Eastlands today - fairly sure he was confusing it with the Pompey chime which was audible during the highlights, oh dear.
By the way, I'd say Zenit are definitely missing Pavlyuchenko not scoring against them.
