Just to let every one know, the launch for the Laughing Langers Comedy Club to-night in the Swan has had to be canceled. The arrangement made with the manager months ago were not passed on to the owners. I dropped in flyers and posters last Tuesday, put out flyers and put up posters, nothing was said to me.
I dropped in about an hour ago to check on upstairs to find our posters down and the night canceled. The owners were unable to contact me as the manager is on holidays.
So my sincerest apologies to everyone that was coming along, and especially the comedians Graham Storey, Paddy and Jamie, Barry Magan , and one special comedian who "asked" if he could do a spot for us, as it was to be an unannounced surprise his name remains a secret.
So folks what happens next is at the moment in the hands of the Gods. Up stairs in the Swan wont be ready for another month, and then we don't know if we have a regular spot there so until more information comes on board, or if anyone knows of a venue to accommodate us, my sincerest apologies to all concerned, it really is beyond our control.
