Semi Finals are on now, final is on 3:30pm.

Bolt won his semi final in 9.85....pulling up for the last 30 metres

Bolt is slowing down from 40-50 whereas Powell is full on to the last 20. I would say Bolt will cruise to a new world record if he goes full on for the full 100 in the final.

Cant see beyond Bolt in the final. I hope Powel runs 9.8 though to put the pressure on so we might see a world record.

I've often done quicker when the rozzers were after me.

Unreal though. He was only coasting at the end and he's only 21.

Amazaing performance......lov ed his interview afterwards - said he came out to win the race and do no more. He decided to take it easy and still broke the WR

I reckon he'd have done 9.5 if he hadn't arsed about, a deserving champion.

he's playing the cute hoor here I reckon. If he keeps knocking a few hundreths off the record over time, as he clearly has the ability to do, then he can get better sponsorship deals and keep his profile high for longer. He could have broken the world record in the semi if he really wanted to, let alone in the final.

Unreal. I was lucky... Backed Bolt in the betting in running a 5.34 secs to win. cleaned up I did.
