BBC3 are showing one of them anyway but I think the other one might just be on the BBC interactive channel.

Fucking Belgium got to the semis.
It's a farce of a competition in fairness.

It's a farce of a competition in fairness. Why??? It's an u-21 tournament with 3 over-aged players allowed per squad. From what I can remember Belgium looked handy enough in an u-21 tournament about a year ago so it's not that surprising that they made the semis.

Exactly. Would it be less of a farce if the semis & quarters were choc-full of the usual sides? Surely the likes of Belgium must be doing something right to make it this far?

True, Belgium have some talented youngsters (vincent kompany, thomas vermaelen of ajax, anthony van den borre) in their squad and probably had a bit of luck along the way.

final is on rte live friday night/saturday morning between brazil and nigeria. should we cheer for nigeria perhaps. its an u-23 tournament btw.
Mockery of a competition, no wonder Messi was mad to go on it, a couple of weeks holidays in China, how bad like, farting around in a mickey mouse competition that is about as important as the Coca Cola Cup or whatever it is called these days
