Conor Counihan Vs Billy Morgan

Which of the above is the best coach ? it is to early to say about Counihan but he made some exellent moves at half time in the game against Kerry and he could well be one of the best coaches that we ever had .As for Morgan in my opinion he was only a very poor coach ok we reached the final last year and the Semi the year before but we got bashed in both games which does not say much for Billy Morgan

After sending them out with a disastrous game plan in the first half. Any change at all would have been an improvement.

Billy has won all-irelands as a player with and a coach of both Cork and Nemo Rangers...Counihan has a long way to go!
Also Counihan did nothing to halt the appalling performance against 14 man Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds and was incredibly lucky to get out of there with a win...jury is still out for me.

Far too early to make any comparison. Billy Morgan was the best coach Cork ever had. Great record with them. But 8 all-irelands (player and coach) and 3 successes is not so great.
Still though CC has a long road to travel to get anywhere near there.

Listen, apart from his Nemotism, i would not say anything remotely negative about Billy...the man is a true legend and drove Cork football on, through the great years of the late 80's but more importantly through some very very bad times which followed right up to the last few years....

He is MR Cork Football in my eyes, and deserves a lot of credit for his staunch refusal to be bullied by anyone..Frank m and co, Kerry ar anyone else...

Of course I hope Conor C will be a huge success and as a neighbour from East Cork i can vouch for the respect he is held in...a very similar character in many ways, but has shown already that he is ready to reward any fella from any club that deserves his place and is not afraid to make big calls...

Billy is the best manager Cork has ever had, no contest.

Counihan has been in charge for two championship games. Lets start comparisons when he's brought Cork to 6 All Ireland finals.
