1. Chelsea, Amazing arrogance, buying the Premier League title, celebrity 'fans' like Tim Lovejoy, David Mellor and Damon Albarn, 70s hooligans, John Terry's attitude to refs, Ashley Cole. Need we go on?
2. Mancs, Fans everywhere in the world but not even the biggest club in Manchester (so the legend goes), the Glazers, injury time goals and Old Trafford penalties, megastores and the Theatre of Dreams.
3. (surprisingly) MK Dons, Being Franchise FC, laying claim to the history of the club they destroyed, Pete Winkelman.
4. Leeds, Revie's hard men and the legacy it left, hooligans, Bowyer and Woodgate, Wise and Bates, sacking Cloughie. (defo not done by a Red then with the bighead reason).
5. Lazio, The club's relationship with and tolerance of extreme right-wing views, as exemplified by Paolo Di Canio's stiff-right-arm salute in 2005. (I like Lazio after 1984, when they were cheering for us).
6. Celtic AND Rangers, The cabal that cannibalises Scottish football while actively seeking to undermine it by leaving it: both Celtic and Rangers are despised by more than just each other, regardless of any non-football issues that may exist.
7. Millwall, No-one likes them, but they don't care. The UK's most enduring reputation for bone-headed thuggery among fans, whether it remains true or false.
8. Luton, Well-liked for their entertaining side until getting into bed with Sports Minister Colin Moynihan over compulsory ID cards, and then their plastic pitch, blighted the mid to late 1980s and made them a hate club.
9. Newcastle, "Massive club" and "loyal fans" - the "Geordie Nation" has won nothing since Elvis was a teenager, and most of their fans were mysteriously absent from the paltry 11,000 that used to turn out in Division 2 in 1991. See also: Bowyer/Dyer/Bellamy/Bramble/Shearer all in one team, and fat fans with no shirts who weep on cue for the TV.
10. Real Madrid, In a country with several semi-autonomous regions, Real represent the heart of Castilla, the Kingdom of Spain, and always seem to get what they want, making them loathed by the rest of the nation - and Europe, once they went global with their 'Galactico' policy.

1. Didier Drogba - But Drogba makes number one thanks to his unfailing devotion to diving, moaning, haranguing refs and - the clincher - his petulance, epitomised by that rather unseemly slap on Nemanja Vidic in the Champions League final.
2. Ashley Cole - "Only number two!" - 'Cashley' might swerve off the road in anger if he knew he'd been beaten to the top slot, despite his track record of whingeing, childishly turning his back on refs and of course THAT passage in THAT book.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo- Some say he's a twinkle-toed genius and the best player in the world - and while this may be true, his very greatness (and more importantly, the fact that he clearly KNOWS he is) along with that infamous wink in World Cup 2006, makes Ronaldo number three.
4. Joey Barton - With a list of 'real-life' wrongdoings longer than anyone else on this list, Barton's on-field lunges and temperamental outbursts were always going to help him to a high placing in the loathing list.
5. Robbie Savage - Yes folks, he's still going.. he's been loathed for so long now that he's almost loved in some ways. Still the pre-eminent Premier League nagger and over-the-top actor.
6. Craig Bellamy - A keen golfer - just ask John Arne Riise - he's had more than his fair share of clubs, thanks to his unfailing ability to fall out with his managers and fellow pros.
7. John Terry - Some (mainly Chelsea fans and diehard patriots) love England's 'man's man', while others find his attempts to referee matches boorish, not to mention his various nightclub scrapes and THAT 9/11 incident.
8. Emmanuel Eboue - Even Arsenal fans don't like this man. He whinges, he nags, he dives to win free-kicks (cf: Champions League final) and moans when rejected.
9. Lee Bowyer - Not as regular a court attender as he once was - but still no longer welcome in Leeds nightclubs or McDonalds nationwide - Bowyer remains an unpleasant figure to many. Ok, to most.
10. El Hadji Diouf - Spitter extraordinaire, and renowned fan-baiter - but the Bolton striker only just scrapes into our top ten.

I am obviously referring to the actual scouse and not the boys who liked Ian Rush's moustache in these parts.
But, come on, anytime the camera banks around the Anfield crowd, what a shower of scobes.

Seth Johnson would be high up on Leeds fans lists as well I'd say.

Did he not sit around and pick up something like 40k a week while they pissed money, refusing to take a pay cut when transfers came around or something to that end. A buddy of mine is a big Leeds fan he was always going on about it.

Possibly so. I just remembered the part where he went in with agent, expecting an opening offer of £8k a week and was offered £38k.
As for the rest, that's Ridsdale's fault. Can be blaming a fella for not wanting to take a pay-cut just because some well-rewarded suits (Ridsdale, the succession of highly paid 'restructuring' experts, etc) killed the golden goose.

In situations like that I think you can I mean a paycut would have brought him down to a figure still way above wat he was expecting beforehand so its still abit cuntish!

It is, but I'd be inclined to blame the bigger cunt (Ridsdale).
If my boss asked me to take a pay cut cos he did his sums wrong, I'd probably tell him to get fucked too.

Ronaldo's taking shit at the moment (and rightly so) because he signed a contract for megabucks and now wants out of it. Can't have it the other way when a player expects his contract to be honoured.

Fair enough he expected it to be honoured but if he were to move clubs he would have ended up with a basic salary that was alot higher than his originally anticipated 8k.
Still think its cuntish anyways.
